TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
